Via Star Parker/ C.U.R.E. : Planned Parenthood targets black women

Planned Parenthood targets black women

Black Americans are bearing the brunt of the cost of a nation that has lost its moral rudder as a result of wantonly legal and available abortion.

In 1854, Abraham Lincoln confronted America's first "pro-choice" U.S. senator, Stephen Douglas of Illinois, in a speech in Peoria.
"Choice" then was about slavery, not abortion.
Douglas had sponsored the Kansas-Nebraska Act, which repealed the Missouri Compromise of 1820 and addressed the sticky question of slavery in new territories entering the union. The Kansas-Nebraska Act resolved this by "choice:" Residents would vote to decide if slavery would be legal in their territory.
Lincoln, morally opposed to slavery, challenged Douglas's "pro-choice" position. According to Douglas, said Lincoln, "the principle of the Nebraska bill was very old; that it originated when God made man and placed good and evil before him, allowing him to choose for himself, being responsible for the choice he should make."
No, said Lincoln. "God did not place good and evil before man, telling him to make his choice. On the contrary, he did tell him there was one tree, of the fruit of which he should not eat, upon pain of certain death."
Our constitution, conveyed by the nation's founders 65 years before Lincoln spoke those words, circumvented the question of slavery, permitting the great paradox of a nation founded on the ideals of freedom, which allowed slavery.
The struggle for racial justice in America -- whether fighting slavery or fighting for civil rights -- has always been informed by absolute standards of right and wrong, of good and evil, which transcend even the cleverest human mind. Black history is testimony to where we wind up when those standards get lost.
Yet, once again, those standards have gotten lost. And, once again, black Americans are bearing the brunt of the cost of a nation that has lost its moral rudder as a result of wantonly legal and available abortion.
According to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, blacks accounted for 35.4 percent of abortions performed in 2009, despite representing, according to the 2010 census, just 13.6 percent of the U.S. population.
Let's not be deluded that this is an accident.
Analysis of 2010 census data by an initiative called Protecting Black Life shows that 79 percent of Planned Parenthood abortion clinics are located within walking distance of minority neighborhoods: 62 percent within two miles of primarily black neighborhoods and 64 percent of Hispanic/Latino neighborhoods.
Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider, systematically targets minority women for abortion.
Before the Civil War, there were church-going Americans who rationalized slavery by contending that blacks were less than human. This view was legally formalized in the U.S. Supreme Court's infamous Dred Scott decision in 1857. Scott, an African-American slave who had lived in the free state of Illinois and the freed territory of Wisconsin before being returned to Missouri, had unsuccessfully appealed to the court to grant his freedom.
It is not surprising that Douglas supported the decision.
Views echoing Dred Scott help rationalize Planned Parenthood's targeted destruction of black children in the womb.
In 1957, Mike Wallace interviewed Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger and asked if she believed in sin.
Sanger, whose racist and eugenicist views are well documented, replied: "I believe the biggest sin in the world is parents bringing children into the world that have disease from their parents that have no chance in the world to be a human being practically. Delinquents, prisoners, all sorts of things just marked when they are born."
It is a sign of these dismally confused times that it was our first black president, Barack Obama, who last week became the first sitting American president to address Planned Parenthood.
In his address, the president did not use the word "abortion" once, nor was there a single reference to the current trial and murder charges against Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell.
You'd think he was addressing the Ronald McDonald House, not an organization that provided 333,964 abortions last year, disproportionately on black women.
Black unemployment and poverty rates are almost double the national averages. I suppose Planned Parenthood -- with support from our president and $542 million in taxpayer funds -- feels it is doing its part to solve this problem.

Benghazi Whistleblowers Allegedly Threatened by Obama Administration

When will we finally get the whole story behind the Obama Administration's failure to protect our citizens in Benghazi. It is time for them to stop blocking these people from speaking. We deserve to know the thruth,

One Hour Documentary on Kermit Gosnell Via Fox News Channel Sunday May 5, 9PM E.T.

Sunday, May 5, Fox News Channel will air a one-hour documentary about Gosnell at 9pm ET. This is a key opportunity to pull aside the veil from the violence of what goes on in abortion clinics all over the nation. Please spread the word. Only if we get the rest of the country to know about this will it get any traction in the Lamestream media. If you are not pro-life, take the time to see what you support. If it is not that bad, as you say, there should be no problem hearing or seeing what this man did.

BS DETECTOR

I am a Catholic and, as you already know a Conservative. Liberals would like you to think that, as Conservatives we don't have any liberal friends. That could never happen because we are all racist, hate mongering, war happy,  homosexual haters. I submit to you that some of the arguments that may be heard from conservatives and even some liberal leaning citizens these days has nothing to do with any hate, it's just common sense and a feeling that our rights are being trampled on so someone else can be comfortable. There was never any consideration for the religious rights of Christians at all. If the gov't was to make a law that said Muslims had to serve pork if they owned a restaurant because I like to eat it, there would be an uproar, yet the gov't feels it is acceptable to do the same to Christians everyday. My friend CT is an agnostic and I believe a little Dem leaning, things have gotten bad enough that he posted some comments on a couple of situations that concerned him. I really thought hard about how I would post his comments, after a long deliberation, I chose to include his comments verbatim. I apologize for the profanity but, I thought it important to get his complete thought across. I would really enjoy hearing your comments on this post to know how you feel about it.

Comments From CT Johnson: Two things setting off my bullshit detector
1st
That gay couple who got denied service at Arlenes Flowers a while back? Initially had my sympathy. (also... my inner 12 year old finds something about the idea of a flower shop refusing to do business with a gay guy intrinsically funny) But hey if the gal wanted to lose money, it's her business and her ass. Freedom of association and all that.
As it turns out it wasn't as cut and dried as all that - she was actually willing to sell them what they needed, she just wasn't willing to do the onsite setup and be present - *participate* - in the wedding.
Its become more and more obvious that the whole thing was generated - ginned up media whore bullshit to advance "The Cause", because The Cause is more important than steamrolling some little old lady.
Double asinine, considering we already legalized gay marriage in Washington.
So now, extremist whack job organizations on both sides are shoving their noses in looking to attache themselves to the whole hairball - surely for purely altruist purposes, not for any publicity or anything.
So fuck those guys and their lawyer.

This "Baby Rowan" abortion thing that's going around just reeks of fake manipulation bullshit.
Supposedly some gal went in to abortion clinic in Florida (of course) to sluff her kid. Kid pops out when shes in the can, dies. Staff supposedly wouldn't help her...save the kid she came in to have aborted. It get's better. There's Pictures and everything!
You see, despite being so heartbroken about the kid (who again, she went in to have...liquidated....The kid goes "fuck this I aint going out like that!" pulls his own ripcord early, bailing out in the restroom while mom's on the can, instead of waiting for the hatchet man. There are several pictures - well photographed, with mood lighting and everything accompanying the story. Even the abortionist got into the picture (clearly male hands in a couple of the photos) to help out with the photography - despite being all about keeping this shit secret.
I have been trying to find and actual source for this besides the usual cause related circle jerks - like an actual news outlet local to where this supposedly happened (because it WOULD be reported) but so far nothing. Even World Net Daily, which at one time, believe it or not, was fairly scrupulous about linking credible sources for things of this nature had zip.
Oh yeah, she needs money, like 3500 for an autopsy (bullshit level spiking at 11 by this point) and is being represented by a "liberty" organization I've never heard of, which surely must be reputable given the amount of fucked up ads, popups and other digital A.I.D.S on their web site.
When it comes down to it, there are enough real reasons to oppose abortion without fringe organizations concocting bullshit like this. They may see a short term jump in donations (which is what it's all about really) but it ultimately just wrecks credibility.

Via Newsninja2012: Always Some Truth in a Joke: Obama: "I'm Not The Strapping Young Muslim Socialist I Used To Be"

I guess the concerns of a large portion of Americans is just a joke to the current President and his media and celebrity minions.

A message from BrotherCon

You know I  have noticed that I have had quite a few hits on my blog  from countries outside the U.S.  I just felt I needed to say, for those of you who may not understand U.S. politics, I love my country. No matter who the President may be or whether I agree with their politics, it doesn't change the fact that, I believe this is the greatest country on the face of the earth. We may have very serious problems and we may be "at each other's throats" but, there is no greater place to be. I will continue to fight and speak out for the causes I believe in and this country I love. I just thought for those who don't live here, all you ever hear is bloggers or pundants complaining about the wrongs we percieve. The U.S. is still, with all it's problems, the greatest country on this earth.

Either he's got a lot of balls or he just knows it doesn't matter!!!

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/04/27/WHCD-Obama-Makes-Birther-Joke?utm_source=BreitbartNews&utm_medium=facebook

Speaking at the White House Correspondents Dinner on Saturday, President Barack Obama made a birther joke.

Obama was talking about how his recent appearance at the dedication of George W. Bush's presidential library inspired him to start his own legacy. He then made a quip about the potential location of his library.
"Some have suggested we put it in my birthplace, but I'd rather keep it in the United States," Obama joked.
He then said, smirking, "Did anybody not see that joke coming?"

"Our lives are a disease or problem to be erradicated like the plague"

I had a discussion with a gentleman on Twitter a while ago. Interesting that, as we were having our conversation he brought up the fact that Martin Luther King had accepted an award from Planned Parenthood. When I looked into it he was right. The question I had to ask myself was, "Does the support of PP by Dr. King vindicate the murders of hundreds of thousands of American babies. Dr. King was given the award for his civil rights actions, it had nothing to do with PP as a whole. Dr. King was just used as another pawn in Margaret Sanger's crusade to, as Dr. Adolphus Knolf ( a speaker at the International Birth Control Conference in 1925)put it, "...erradicate the menace posed by the "black" and "yellow" peril." I find it odd that the person I was talking to would associate the name of a man who, for the most part, stood for life. I would venture to say that if Dr. King knew of the genocidal tactics and the focus on low-income minorities that has become the hallmark of PP , he would not have accepted the award. It was comical when I heard President Obama ask God to "bless" PP. I cannot speak for God,obviously, but something in my heart tells me that PP is not on the list of Godly organizations. Our society is judged by it's actions and it amazes me everyday that the same people who claim to be so giving and want to help everything care more about a dogs or cats life than they do about a human being. We, as Americans, are being judged everyday by everyone, and being murders of our own children could be a lot of the reason we aren't respected around the world anymore. Just remember your President just went on TV and told the world basically we care nothing about the lives of our children. If the President has the world thinking these things, tel me, why should they not feel about us as they do?

First sitting President remarks at Planned Parenthood national conference.

This is a Facebook post by Gary Bauer:
Here's a short video from President Obama's remarks at the recent Planned Parenthood national conference. These remarks were the first that any sitting president has ever made at this conference, signalling without any confusion that President Obama is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that this corrupt, deceptive, and socially harmful organization will continue to flourish under his watch.
